Mabel Marie Sullivan, 87, of Cape Girardeau died Wednesday, March 10, 1993, at her home.

She was born June 27, 1905, at Brookport, Ill., the daughter of James and Cora Dungan Smith. On Aug. 26, 1922, she married Sam Sullivan, who preceded her in death Jan. 9, 1969.

She was a resident of Cape Girardeau most her life and formerly worked for the Dorsey Dress Factory here. She also was a seamstress for 27 years at the Lowenbaum Dress Factory in Cape Girardeau.

She is survived by a daughter, Shirlene Howard of Hayden, Colo., seven grandchildren, and numerous great-grandchildren. She also was preceded in death by five brothers and two sisters.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, five brothers and two sisters.

Friends may call from 2:30 p.m. to the time of the funeral Saturday after noon at the Ford and Sons Sprigg Street Chapel.

Funeral services will be 3:30 p.m. Saturday at Ford and Sons Sprigg Street Chapel with the Rev. Jack Cathcart officiating.

Burial will follow in Memorial Park Cemetery.
