MABEL L. SEABAUGH

JACKSON -- Mabel Lucille Talley Seabaugh, 92, of Jackson died Monday, Nov. 23, 1998, at the Monticello House.

She was born Oct. 30, 1906, in Jackson, daughter of Walter B. and Flora M. Browning Blackman. She married Arlus J. Seabaugh July 24, 1925. He died in 1986.

She worked in food service for the Jackson School District, retiring in 1971. She had been a member of First Baptist Church in Jackson for 75 years where she taught Sunday school and was active in the WMU.

Survivors include three daughters, Evelyn Byrd, Edith Unger and Jo Ann Kasten, all of Jackson; a sister, Helen Schnare of St. Charles; seven grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by three brothers and two sisters.

Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. Friday at McCombs Funeral Home in Jackson.

Funeral will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at the funeral home, with Dr. Brian Anderson officiating.

Burial will be in Russell Heights Cemetery in Jackson.
