MABEL HUTSON

MILLERSVILLE, Mo. -- Mabel E. Hutson, 82, of Apache Junction, Ariz., died Monday, May 28, 2001, at Apache Junction Health Center.

She was born Nov. 1, 1918, at Millersville, daughter of Jesse and Desdie Stroder Sander. She and Cecil Sinko were married in 1936. She and Gus Hutson were married in 1966. He died in 1988.

Hutson lived in St. Louis from 1952 until moving to Apache Junction in 1998.

Survivors include a son, Verlon Sinko of Dallas, Texas; a daughter, Norma Ruch of Apache Junction; two brothers, the Rev. Donald Sander and Doyle Sander of Millersville; five sisters, Helen Jones of Mehlville, Mo., Myrtle Criddle of Burfordville, Mo., Isadore Ackman of St. Charles, Mo., Imogene Slinkard of Old Hickory, Tenn., Melba Smith of Cape Girardeau; two grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by a granddaughter, two brothers and two sisters.

Friends may call at McCombs Funeral Home in Jackson from 4-8 p.m. Thursday.

Funeral will be at 11 a.m. Friday at Haynes Chapel near Millersville, with the Rev. Jerry Sander officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
