ZALMA, Mo. -- Mabel A. Fish, 70, of Alton, Ill., died Saturday, June 25, 2005, at her home. She was born Sept. 7, 1934, at Zalma, daughter of Paul and Mary Moore Hamlin. She and Carl Fish were married Oct. 15, 1949. He died Oct. 2, 1983. Survivors include her mother of St. ...

ZALMA, Mo. -- Mabel A. Fish, 70, of Alton, Ill., died Saturday, June 25, 2005, at her home.

She was born Sept. 7, 1934, at Zalma, daughter of Paul and Mary Moore Hamlin. She and Carl Fish were married Oct. 15, 1949. He died Oct. 2, 1983.

Survivors include her mother of St. Louis; six brothers, Jim Hamlin of Wappapello, Mo., Jerry Hamlin of Advance, Mo., Bill Hamlin of Bethalto, Ill., Tommy Hamlin of Fredericktown, Mo., Mike Hamlin of St. Louis, Terry Hamlin of Fort Worth, Texas; a sister, Pam Brinker of St. Louis; six grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her father, three sons and three sisters.

Friends may call at Morgan Funeral Home in Advance from 10:30 a.m. to service time Wednesday.

The funeral will be at 1 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home, with the Rev. Luther Rhodes officiating. Burial will be in Morgan Memorial Park in Advance.
