MARBLE HILL -- Mabel Avanda Robins, 77, of Marble Hill, died Tuesday, Jan. 18, 1994, at her home.
She was born Aug. 4, 1916, at Mayfield, daughter of Elisha and Emma E. Mayfield Fulton. She and the Rev. Quinton Robins were married Sept. 3, 1938.
Robins was a member of New Salem Baptist Church 51 years. She has been a member of Dongola Friendship Baptist Church near Advance since 1983, where her husband is pastor.
Survivors include her husband; four sons, Jerry Robins of St. Charles, Gerald Robins of Delta, Colo., James and Johnnie Robins of Marble Hill; a daughter, Dianna Francis of Marquand; a brother, Shelton Fulton of Seattle, Wash.; a stepbrother, Charley Fulbright of Marquand; three stepsisters, Mae Upchurch of St. Louis, Lillie Fulton of Patton, Vallie Robins of Marble Hill; 20 grandchildren, and nine great-grandchildren.
Funeral service will be at 11 a.m. Friday at New Salem Church. The Revs. Charlie Shrum and Delbert Bishop will officiate, with burial in Bollinger County Memorial Park Cemetery near here.
Friends may call at Liley Funeral Home in Marble Hill after 4 p.m. today, and at the church Friday from 10 a.m. to service time.
