MORLEY, Mo. -- M. Maxine McBride, 88, of Morley passed away Wednesday, Nov. 7, 2012, at Sikeston Convalescent Center.
She was born June 28, 1924, to the late William Claude and Lena Bambridge Burson in DesArk, Ark. Maxine married Edward "Gene" McBride in December 1943 in Oceola, Ark., who preceded her in death on April 13, 1987.
She was retired owner and operator of McBride Flower Shop in Chaffee, Mo., and worked as a florist for various area floral shops. She is a member of First Baptist Church in Clarkton, Mo.
Survivors include one son, Barry (Susie) McBride of Vanduser, Mo.; one daughter, Carolyn McBride of Morley; one brother, Ralph Burson of Campbell, Mo.; seven grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren.
She was also preceded in death by two sons, Danny Neal and Ronnie Gene; three brothers; and two sisters.
Friends may call from 11 a.m. until time of service Sunday Amick-Burnett Funeral Chapel in Benton, Mo.
The funeral will be at 2 p.m. Sunday at the chapel, with the Rev. Larry Jackson officiating. Burial will follow in Stanfield Cemetery in Clarkton.
