SIKESTON -- Lynne Lanore Godsey, 34, of Sikeston, died Wednesday, Oct. 25, 1995, at Missouri Delta Medical Center. She was born Nov. 7, 1960, in Sikeston, daughter of James Edward "Buddy" and Lanore Fortner Godsey. SIKESTON -- Lynne Lanore Godsey, 34, of Sikeston, died Wednesday, Oct. 25, 1995, at Missouri Delta Medical Center.

She was born Nov. 7, 1960, in Sikeston, daughter of James Edward "Buddy" and Lanore Fortner Godsey.

Godsey was a 1979 graduate of Sikeston High School, and attended Southeast Missouri State University. She was a member of St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church and its Daughters of Isabella.

Survivors include her mother and stepfather, Lanore and Jack Taylor of Sikeston; two brothers, James Godsey of Sacramento, Calif., and Shelby Godsey of Farmington.

Friends may call at Nunnelee Funeral Chapel from 5-8 p.m. today.

Funeral mass will be at 10:30 a.m. Saturday at St. Francis Church, with the Rev. Robert Schumacher officiating. Burial will be in Stanfield Cemetery at Clarkton.
