Alvin Lynn Schenimann, 65, of Jackson passed away Tuesday, Sept. 18, 2018, at Southeast Hospital in Cape Girardeau.

He was born Oct. 30, 1952, in Cape Girardeau, son of Alvin Ray and Jesse Maxine "Pat" Craft Schenimann. He and Paula S. Garner were married Jan. 24, 1976.

Lynn graduated from College High School in Cape Girardeau in 1970. He worked for Howard Farms near Jackson for five years and then worked for Procter & Gamble for 19 years. In 1994, he founded the Schenimann Construction Co. and did residential construction in the area.

Loving survivors include his wife of 42 years, Paula Schenimann; two children, Bobby Schenimann of Jackson and January (Steve) Danubio of North Carolina; three grandchildren, Jerrin Schenimann, Shayne Buckingham and Hayden Schenimann; and his mother, Pat Schenimann of Jackson. Also surviving are three siblings, Leroy (Cheryl) Schenimann, Gary (Lee Ann) Schenimann of Jackson and Tammy (Charles) Kassel of New Wells; and a former brother-in-law, Curt Smith of Jackson.

He was preceded in death by his father, Alvin Schenimann, and a sister, Mary Ann Smith.

Visitation will be held from 12:30 to 2 p.m. Saturday at Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses North Congregation, 3075 County Road 620, in Cape Girardeau.

Memorial service will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at the Kingdom Hall, with Dr. James W. Campbell III officiating.

Memorials may take the form of contributions to Paula Schenimann.

McCombs Funeral Home and Cremation Center in Jackson is in charge of arrangements.
