Lynn Hedgecorth

Lynn Allan Hedgecorth, 74, of Cape Girardeau died Monday, March 30, 2015, at Saint Francis Medical Center.

He was born May 21, 1940, in Louisiana. He and Patricia A. Dutka were married Jan. 17, 1983, in California.

Lynn was a truck driver with Wal-Mart. He loved woodworking, was an avid Cardinals fan and computer nerd.

Survivors include his wife, Patricia A. Hedgecorth; two sons, Wayne Hedgecorth and David Politte of Poplar Bluff, Missouri; four daughters, Jamie Palen of Jackson, Shay McMillan of Fort Jackson, South Carolina, Angela Martin of Cape Girardeau and Elizabeth Glidewell of St. Louis; a brother, Ed Hedgecorth of Kansas City, Missouri; a sister, Janet; and nine grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Birdie Olson Hedgecorth, and a brother, Larry Hedgecorth.

Friends may call from 4 to 5 p.m. today at Ford and Sons Funeral Home in Benton, Missouri.

The funeral will be at 5 p.m. today at the funeral home.
