Lynn "Mamie" Gregory, 72, of Chatsworth, Calif., died Sunday, Nov. 13, 1994, in Tarzana, Calif. She was born Sept. 27, 1922, in Cape Girardeau, daughter of Edward and Lillie Goss Pettit. She and Elmer L. Gregory were married in 1946. Gregory attended Cape Girardeau Public Schools, and served with the U.S. Navy WAVES during World War II. She had lived in California since 1954, and was a member of St. Stephen's United Presbyterian Church...

Lynn "Mamie" Gregory, 72, of Chatsworth, Calif., died Sunday, Nov. 13, 1994, in Tarzana, Calif.

She was born Sept. 27, 1922, in Cape Girardeau, daughter of Edward and Lillie Goss Pettit. She and Elmer L. Gregory were married in 1946.

Gregory attended Cape Girardeau Public Schools, and served with the U.S. Navy WAVES during World War II. She had lived in California since 1954, and was a member of St. Stephen's United Presbyterian Church.

Survivors include her husband; a daughter, Lisa Walsh of Valencia, Calif.; a son, Thomas Gregory of Chatsworth; two sisters, Mary Wolters Kerrick of Colton, Calif., Ruth Wolters Lipps of Cape Girardeau, and three grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by a son, brother and sister.

Funeral service was held Nov. 17, with burial in Veterans Garden at Eternal Valley Memorial Park in Newhall, Calif.
