PERRYVILLE, Mo. -- Lydia A. Laurentius, 82, of Perryville died Sunday, July 8, 2001, at St. Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau.
She was born Sept. 10, 1918, in Perry County, Mo., daughter of Bernard and Caroline Dondlinger Unterreiner. She and James Laurentius were married Sept. 27, 1947. He died Aug. 7, 2000.
Laurentius was a member of St. Maurus Catholic Church at Biehle, Mo., and St. Ann's Sodality.
Survivors include three sons, James Laurentius Jr. of St. Louis, Stanley Laurentius of Cape Girardeau, Gary Laurentius of Jackson, Mo.; four daughters, Linda Spencer and Carol Laurentius of St. Louis, Brenda Krieger and Debbie Boland of Perryville; two sisters, Frances Kutz and Mildred Hoernig of Perryville; 19 grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by a brother and two sisters.
Friends may call at Young and Sons Funeral Home from 4-9 p.m. today, and 6:30-9:15 a.m. Wednesday. The wake will be at 6 p.m. today. The rosary will be recited at 8:45 a.m. Wednesday.
Funeral Mass will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday at St. Maurus Catholic Church. The Revs. Mark Bozada and Felipe Martinez will officiate. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
