LYDIA FRANCES BERKBIGLER

PERRYVILLE -- Lydia Frances Berkbigler, 90, died Saturday, April 3, 1993, at Perry County Memorial Hospital in Perryville.

She was born Jan. 6, 1903 in Perry County, daughter of Henry Schumer and Barbara Lohmann Schumer.

She married Arnold Berkbigler in 1923 at Highland, Mo. He preceded her in death.

She is survived by a son, Eugene Berkbigler of St. Louis; two brothers, Walter Schumer and Hervey Schumer, both of Perryville; six grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by a brother and five sisters.

Friends may call from 3-9 p.m. Monday at Miller Funeral Home in Perryville, where there will be a wake service at 7 p.m.

Funeral service will be at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at St. Timothy Catholic Church in St. Louis, with the Rev. Steve Robeson officiating. Burial will be in Mt. Hope Cemetery in St. Louis.
