BENTON -- Luvina H. Hennemann, 81, of Benton died Sunday, May 14, 2000, at St. Francis Medical Center.
She was born Aug. 4, 1918, at Uniontown, daughter of John and Anna T. Ponder Winkler. She and Ben Hennemann were married Nov. 24, 1936, at Applecreek.
She was employed as a cook for the Kelly Schools for 21 years, retiring in 1989, and was a member of St. Denis Catholic Church and St. Ann's Sodality of St. Denis.
Survivors include her husband of the home; four sons, Alan and Ralph Hennemann of Benton, Donnie Hennemann of Kelso and Jim Hennemann of Cape Girardeau; four daughters, Jeannie Fodge and Geri Hennemann of Benton, Yvonne McVay of Jackson and JoAnn Schott of Oran; 21 grandchildren; and 16 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by twin infant brothers, a sister and a twin sister.
Friends may call from 5-9 p.m. today at Amick-Burnett Funeral Chapel at Benton. Prayer service will be at 7 p.m.
Funeral will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday at St. Denis Catholic Church, with the Rev. Normand Varone officiating. Burial will be in St. Denis Catholic Cemetery.
