LUTHER J. HARPER

BLOOMFIELD -- Luther Jack Harper, 82, of Bloomfield, died Tuesday, May 24, 1994, at Vintage Villa Nursing Center in Dexter.

He was born Jan. 10, 1912, at Avert, son of Pryor and Francis Bess Harper.

Harper lived in Kansas City several years, and was retired from Central Gulf Railroad Co. He was a member of Bloomfield Masonic Lodge 153.

Survivors include a son, Gail Harper of Collinsville, Miss.; a brother, John Harper of Carlinsville, Ill., and a sister, Jewell Jarrell of Dexter.

Friends may call at Chiles-Cooper Funeral Home after 6 p.m. today.

Funeral service will be at 2 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home, with the Rev. Kenneth Gaines officiating. Burial will be in Walker Cemetery near here.
