LURA MARIE RUSSELL

ANNA, Ill. -- Lura Marie "Tudy" Russell, 87, of Route 1, Anna, died Friday, Dec. 11, 1992, at the City Care Center in Anna.

She was born Sept. 18, 1905, in Mill Creek, Ill., daughter of Cicero and Sarah Jane Lingle Dillow.

She married Ivy Russell on Sept. 18, 1924. He preceded her in death March 19, 1976.

She worked as nurse's aide at Union County Hospital. she was a member of the Big Creek Baptist Church.

Survivors include nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by two brothers and three sisters.

Service will be Monday at 1 p.m. at Norris & Son Funeral Home, with the Rev. Doyle Keller officiating. Burial will be in St. John's Cemetery near Dongola.
