Lura M. Rohlfs, 75, died Saturday, June 17, 1995, at the Lutheran Home in Cape Girardeau.
She was born May 2, 1920, in Neelyville. She was a member of the Neelyville United Methodist Church where she served as communion steward, treasurer and Sunday School teacher. She was also a member of the choir.
She married Louis W. Rohlfs Dec. 24, 1941, in Boomfield. She is survived by her husband and children, Dr. Louis H. Rohlfs and Mary Lou Shelton, both of Jackson, and a sister, Inez Surber of Poplar Bluff.
She was preceded in death by her parents, H.W. and Matilda Mittelhauser.
Visitation will be tonight at 7 p.m. There will also be a visitation on Monday from 11 to noon at the Neelyville United Methodist Church.
Funeral services will take place on Monday at 1 p.m. at the Neelyville United Methodist Church. The Rev. Otto Steinhaus will officiate.
