Lula Kiefer

PERRYVILLE, Mo. -- Lula Kiefer, 86, of Perryville, died Thursday, Feb. 12, 2002, at Southeast Missouri Hospital in Cape Girardeau.

She was born Aug. 11, 1915, in Bollinger County, the daughter of Harry and Sarah Crites Brotherton.

She and Everett Kiefer were married Jan. 1, 1940, in Perryville.

Kiefer had been a dietary worker.

Survivors include her husband; a son, Robert Kiefer of St. Ann, Mo.; three grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by 11 brothers and sisters.

Friends may call at Miller Family Funeral Home in Perryville from 4-9 p.m. Thursday, or from 6:30-11 a.m. Friday.

Funeral will be at 11 a.m. Friday at the funeral home. The Rev. Eddie Long will officiate. Burial will be at the Home Cemetery in Perryville.
