DEXTER -- Funeral for Lula Cutler Foster of St. Charles will be held at noon Saturday at Watkins and Sons Funeral Home in Dexter. The Rev. Carl Schaefer will officiate. Burial will be in Dexter Cemetery.
Friends may call at the funeral home from 5-8 p.m. today.
Foster, 79, died Wednesday, July 14, 1999, at Barnes-Jewish Hospital in St. Peters.
She was born Nov. 14, 1919, at Dexter, daughter of Dewey G. and Florence Lee Ellis Christian. She and Delbert Woodrow Cutler were married Oct. 16, 1937, at Bloomfield. He died Oct. 20, 1982.
Foster lived in St. Louis from 1956 until moving to St. Charles five years ago. She was a member of Willot Road Community Church in St. Charles.
Survivors include three daughters, Norma White of Panama City Beach, Fla., Betty Eiffert of O'Fallon, Donna Krieg of St. Charles; a brother, Gene Christian of Dexter; a sister, Eloise Nickelson of Walls, Miss.; and a half sister, Norma James of Dexter.
Also surviving is a stepsister, Peggy Sielert of Dexter; three stepbrothers, Willie Meeks of St. Charles, Charles and Donnie Meeks of Alton, Ill.; seven grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by a son and four brothers.
