LULA B. MCFARLAND

MARBLE HILL -- Lula B. McFarland, 63, of Marble Hill died Saturday, Jan. 13, 1996, at Southeast Missouri Hospital in Cape Girardeau.

She was born July 31, 1932, at Parma, daughter of David E. and Cecil G. Miles Hendrix.

She married Bill Dale McFarland March 18, 1949.

She was a member of the Ladd Chapel General Baptist Church.

Survivors are her husband; four sons, Bill D. McFarland and Thomas M. McFarland, both of Marble Hill, Louie C. McFarland of Cincinnati and the Rev. Dale McFarland of Sikeston; four daughters, Leda McFarland of Marble Hill, Janice Lee of Cookeville, Tenn., Candy Irwin of Blytheville, Ark., and Sandy McFarland of Sikeston; a brother, John Hendrix of Cooperas Cove, Texas; two sisters, Mary Fergeson of Alta Loma, Calif, and Erlene Ramsey of Wintergarden, Fla.,; 13 grandchildren; and a great-grandchild.

She was preceded in death by a son and two brothers.

Service will be held Monday at 2 p.m. at Liley Funeral Chapel in Marble HIll, with the Revs. Norman Elledge and Dale McFarland officiating. Burial will be in Baker Cemetery at Marble Hill.
