CHAFFEE, Mo. -- Funeral for Luella Regina Biler of Chaffee will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday at St. Ambrose Catholic Church. The Rev. Ralph Duffner will officiate. Burial will be in Evergreen Catholic Cemetery at New Madrid, Mo.

Friends may call at Amick-Burnett Funeral Chapel in Chaffee after 4 p.m. Friday. The rosary will be recited at 7.

Biler, 93, died Tuesday, Oct. 30, 2001, at the Lutheran Home in Cape Girardeau.

She was born Feb. 27, 1908, at Clarkton, Mo., daughter of Louis Richard and Ara Mae Dexter Thompson. She and Eugene Jerome Biler were married April 26, 1926. He died Jan. 21, 1983.

Biler was a seamstress at Thorngate Ltd., retiring in 1972. She was a member of Legion of Mary, Ladies Prayer and Share, past president of Daughters of St. Ambrose, RSVP, and taught CCD religion classes three years at St. Ambrose.

Survivors include three sons, Eugene Biler Jr. and John Biler of Chaffee, William Biler of Hemet, Calif.; a daughter, Jo Ann Reiminger of Jackson, Mo.; 22 grandchildren; 38 great-grandchildren; and nine great-great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by three sons, three brothers, and three sisters.
