LUE DAVIS

SIKESTON, Mo. -- Graveside service for Lue Mae Davis of Sikeston will be held at 11 a.m. today at East Prairie Memorial Park Cemetery. Aubrey Wilson will officiate.

Shelby Funeral Home of East Prairie is in charge of arrangements.

Davis, 96, died Sunday, July 15, 2001, at Clearview Nursing Center.

She was born Jan. 31, 1905, in Rector, Ark., daughter of John L. Stevens. She and John Lee Davis were married Dec. 22, 1922. He died June 18, 1990.

Formerly of East Prairie, Davis was a member of the Church of Christ there.

Survivors include a daughter, Dorothy Colson of Sikeston; four granddaughters; seven great-grandchildren; and a great-great-granddaughter.

She was preceded in death by a daughter.
