LONGTOWN -- Funeral service for Ludwig C. "Lutz" Bohnert of Longtown will be held at 2 p.m. today at Young and Sons Funeral Chapel in Perryville. The Rev. LONGTOWN -- Funeral service for Ludwig C. "Lutz" Bohnert of Longtown will be held at 2 p.m. today at Young and Sons Funeral Chapel in Perryville. The Rev. Paul Winningham will officiate, with burial in Zion Lutheran Cemetery here.

Friends may call at the funeral home from 6:30 a.m. until service time.

Bohnert, 87, died Thursday, Aug. 26, 1993, at Perry County Nursing Home.

He was born March 15, 1906, at Longtown, son of John and Matilda Weinrich Bohnert. He and Elsie Kiefer were married Aug. 4, 1935, at Perryville. She died March 14, 1977.

Bohnert had been a cutter at a shoe factory, and member of Zion Lutheran Church.

Survivors include a brother, Wilbert Bohnert of Longtown.
