ANNA, Ill. — Ludene Burlison, 87, of Anna died Tuesday, Jan. 20, 2009, at Heartland Regional Medical Center in Marion, Ill. ANNA, Ill. — Ludene Burlison, 87, of Anna died Tuesday, Jan. 20, 2009, at Heartland Regional Medical Center in Marion, Ill.

She was born Jan. 3, 1922, in Goreville, Ill., daughter of Charles and Margaret Lambert Hancock.

Burlison retired from Allen Industries in Herrin, Ill., and later retired from Union County Hospital.

Survivors include two daughters, Beverly Mahan of Marion, Judy Plummer of Anna; seven grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; and 11 great-great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by two brothers and three sisters.

Visitation will be from 11 a.m. to service time Thursday at Rendleman and Hileman Funeral Home in Anna.

The funeral will be at 1 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home, with the Rev. Terry Bird officiating. Burial will be in McGinnis Cemetery.
