CHARLESTON -- Lucy Lee Pruitt, 91, of Paducah, Ky., died Friday, Sept. 30, 1994, at Western Baptist Hospital in Paducah.
She was born Nov. 11, 1902, in Mississippi County, daughter of John and Mattie Mahon Roberts. She and Duard Lee "Ted" Pruitt were married Feb. 1, 1921. He died Jan. 26, 1980.
The Pruitts formerly owned and operated Pruitt's Grocery at Gravel Ridge. She was a member of Gravel Ridge Baptist Church.
Survivors include four sons, Duard Pruitt of Roanoke, Va., Delbert and Albert Pruitt of Paducah, Ed Pruitt of St. Louis; two daughters, Edith Ervin of Cape Girardeau, Mary Gifford of Sacramento, Calif.; a brother, Charles Roberts of Independence; a sister, Verna Bratcher of Charleston; 17 grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren, and a great-great-grandchild.
Friends may call at McMikle Funeral Home in Charleston after 6 p.m. Sunday.
Funeral service will be at 11 a.m. Monday at the funeral home, with the Rev. Paul Blizard officiating. Burial will be in Oak Grove Cemetery.
