Funeral service for Lucy Mae Harmon of Cape Girardeau will be held at 10:30 a.m. today at Fairview Church near Advance. The Revs. Lester Dale and Larry Jackson will officiate, with burial in the church cemetery.
Friends may call at the church from 9:30 a.m. to service time.
Morgan Funeral Home in Advance is in charge of arrangements.
Harmon, 83, died Tuesday, July 2, 1996, at Southeast Missouri Hospital.
She was born May 3, 1913, at Arbor, daughter of Art and Lula Baker Ward. She and Charles Bass were married in 1930. He died Dec. 25, 1932. She later married William Harmon March 17, 1940. He died Nov. 9, 1992.
Harmon owned and operated Lucy's Beauty Salon more than 50 years.
Survivors include a daughter, Thelma Wallace of Cape Girardeau; two sisters, Mearle Sullinger of Advance, Norma Dale of Poplar Bluff; seven grandchildren, and 13 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by a sister and brother.
