BELL CITY -- Lucy Clements, 86, formerly of Bell City, died Friday, March 14, 1997, in St. Louis. She was born Jan. 21, 1911, at Commerce, daughter of Sam and Martha Darnell. She and Homer Clements were married in 1930. He died June 16, 1993. Survivors include a daughter, Doretta King of Cape Girardeau; a son, Dale Clements of Belleville, Ill.; six grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren...

BELL CITY -- Lucy Clements, 86, formerly of Bell City, died Friday, March 14, 1997, in St. Louis.

She was born Jan. 21, 1911, at Commerce, daughter of Sam and Martha Darnell. She and Homer Clements were married in 1930. He died June 16, 1993.

Survivors include a daughter, Doretta King of Cape Girardeau; a son, Dale Clements of Belleville, Ill.; six grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.

Burial was in St. Matthew's Cemetery in St. Louis, with Kutis Funeral Home of St. Louis in charge of arrangements.
