Lucinda Brant

Lucinda Ann Brant, daughter of Mary Menz of Scott City and the late Roy Brant, was born Feb. 16, 1962, in Cape Girardeau and departed her life Saturday, April 8, 2023, at her home in Scott City at the age of 61 years.

She was a former heavy-equipment operator for various companies for several years.

Besides her mother, Mary Menz, and stepfather, Charles Menz, of Scott City, she is survived by her longtime companion, Melissa Schiwitz of Scott City; daughter, Jodi Lee of Sulphur Springs, Texas; grandchild, Connor Lee; two brothers, Roy (Susie) Brant and William Brant, all of Kelso; sister, Cathy Brant of Fruitland; and other relatives and friends.

A celebration of life service will be conducted at a later date.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be donated to Amick-Burnett Funeral Chapel, 115 E. Hickory St., Scott City, MO 63780.
