SIKESTON, Mo. -- Lucille Cline Wallen, 89, of Sikeston died Monday, April 30, 2001, at the Sikeston Convalescent Center.
She was born April 12, 1912, at Vanduser, Mo., the daughter of John Henry Cline and Rose Belle Leigh Cline. She married Edgar Russell Wallen in October 1939 in Flat River, Mo. She married Emerson Laseter in 1976. He died in December 1976.
She was a retired inspector for the International Shoe Co. She was a Pink Lady volunteer at Missouri Delta Medical Center in Sikeston. She was a member of the Miner Baptist Church.
She is survived by four daughters, Pat Landers and Esther Watkins, both of Sikeston, Carole Heath of Silvis, Ill., and Karen Moore of East Moline, Ill.; two sisters, Eula Mason of Sikeston and Lula Crotts of Jamestown, N.C.; 10 grandchildren; and 15 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by two brothers, a sister and a great-grandson.
Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. today at Blanchard Funeral Chapel in Sikeston.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral chapel, with the Rev. Jim Matthews officiating.
Burial will be at the Garden of Memories in Sikeston.
