LUCILLE SUTTON

SIKESTON -- Funeral service for Lucille G. Sutton, formerly of Matthews, will be held at 2 p.m. today at Nunnelee Funeral Chapel. The Rev. Larry Long will officiate, with burial in Matthews Cemetery.

Sutton, 86, died Thursday, Feb. 27, 1997, at Missouri Delta Medical Center.

She was born April 5, 1910, at Miner, daughter of John Lawrence and Frances Gardner Whitten. She and Albert M. "Buck" Sutton were married Sept. 29, 1930, at East Prairie. He died Sept. 1, 1994.

Sutton was a charter member of First Christian Church at Matthews.

Survivors include a daughter, Lou Anna Bixler of Sikeston; a brother, Lyman Whitten of Matthews; and two grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by a son, three sisters and four brothers.
