LUCILLE SUTHERLAND

Graveside service for Lucille Leona Sutherland of Caruthersville was held Friday at Memorial Park Cemetery in Cape Girardeau. Dr. Paul Currie officiated.

H.S. Smith Funeral Home in Caruthersville was in charge of arrangements.

Sutherland, 95, died Wednesday, Oct. 28, 1998, at her home.

She was born June 11, 1903, in Cape Girardeau, daughter of Bruno Carl and Laura Alice Stewart Schultz.

Sutherland attended Cape Girardeau schools. She was a member of PEO Sisterhood, Eastern Star, and United Methodist Women.

Survivors include a daughter, Laura Pierce of Caruthersville; a brother, Paul Schultz of Blairsville, Ga.; three grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by a sister.
