Lucille E. Singleton, 81, of Cape Girardeau died Sunday, Dec. 26, 2004, at her home.
She was born April 16, 1923, in Bristol, Tenn., daughter of Sercie Estel and Naomi Eral Sparkman Smith. She and James T. Singleton were married in 1963. He died June 8, 1993.
Singleton had been a clerk at Cousin Fred's in Cape Girardeau.
Survivors include two sons, Ron Moss of Springfield, Mo., Jason Singleton of Bonne Terre, Mo.; two daughters, Linda Hale of Cape Girardeau, Peggy Scaggs of Bloomfield, Mo.; three brothers, Bill and Grady Smith of Puxico, Mo., Lois Smith of St. Louis; a sister, Betty Walden of St. Louis; nine grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by a brother.
There is no visitation or service planned at this time.
Amick-Burnett Funeral Chapel in Scott City is in charge of arrangements.
