SCOTT CITY -- Lucille Rosemary Parker, 80, of Scott City, died Monday, Dec. 19, 1994, at the Lutheran Home in Cape Girardeau.
She was born June 14, 1914, in Cape Girardeau, daughter of Herman William and Rose Freese Pape. She and Harold Jason Parker were married Jan. 25, 1936, at Benton. He died April 18, 1989.
Parker moved to Scott City 20 years ago from Cape Girardeau. She was a member of Illmo Baptist Church and its Dorcas Sunday School Class, VFW Auxiliary 3838, and served as a volunteer at the Nutrition Center. She was a former member of Cape Navy Mothers and Illmo Housing Board.
Survivors include three sons, Charles and Edgar Parker of Chaffee, Terrell Parker of Jackson; four daughters, Madonna Macke of Granite City, Ill., Nancy Parker of North Hollywood, Calif., Peggy Appleton of Bertrand, Libby Koch of Scott City; 20 grandchildren, and 15 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by a son, brother and grandchild.
Friends may call at Amick-Burnett Funeral Home in Scott City from 5-8 p.m. today.
Funeral service will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home, with the Revs. Leland Holland and Terry Eades officiating. Burial will be in Memorial Park in Cape Girardeau.
