OLIVE BRANCH, Ill. -- Lucille Petitt, 61, of Olive Branch died Friday, March 8, 2002, at her home.
She was born Oct. 29, 1940, at Los Angeles, Calif., daughter of Reyes and Rsilia Ytuarte Fuentes. She and Freddie H. Petitt were married May 23, 1981, at Los Angeles.
She had been a resident of Olive Branch since 1991 after moving from California.
Survivors include her husband; a son, John Sandoval of Temple City, Calif.; four stepsons, Steven Petitt of Cariff by the Sea, Calif., Larry Petitt of Thebes, Ill., Randy Petitt of Marina Valley, Calif., and Glen Petitt, also of Marina Valley; two daughters, Lorrain Guzman of Pasadena, Calif., and Rosie Sandoval of Temple City; a stepdaughter, Cindy Valdez of Corona, Calif.; a brother, Frank Fuentes of Whitter, Calif.; a sister, Rosalie Irene Luner of Whitter; five grandchildren; 12 stepgrandchildren; a great-grandchild; and a stepgreat-grandchild.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
Friends may call at Ford and Sons Sprigg Street Chapel from 5 to 9 p.m. Tuesday.
Funeral will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday at the chapel, with the Rev. Gefford Lamprea officiating. Burial will be in Rose Hill Cemetery in Thebes, Ill.
