BERTRAND -- Lucille E. McDonald, 86, died Tuesday, Oct. 20, 1998, at Bertrand Nursing Facility.
She was born Nov. 22, 1911, in Paul's Valley, Okla., daughter of James Pickens and Annie E. Perry Jones. She and Willie "Bill" McDonald were married July 25, 1936, in White's Chapel, Ala. He died Oct. 24, 1967.
McDonald was an agent 11 years with McDonald Insurance Agency in Morley. She was a member of Shady Acres Church of Christ in Sikeston.
Survivors include two sons, Bill McDonald of Palm Harbor, Fla., Jim McDonald of Sikeston; two daughters, Glenda Manche of Cape Girardeau, Wanda Holland of Beebe, Ark.; a brother, Wilburn Jones of Wickliffe, Ky.; two sisters, Earline Dickson of Sikeston, Azilee McKinney of Holts Summit; nine grandchildren; and 14 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by four brothers.
Friends may call at Nunnelee Funeral Chapel from 5-8 p.m. today.
Funeral will be at 2 p.m. Thursday at the chapel, with Pat Hogan officiating. Burial will be in New Morley Cemetery at Morley.
