Lucille Lyerla, 73, of Cape Girardeau passed away Friday, Feb. 10, 2017, at Southeast Hospital.
She was born April 24, 1943, in Chicago to Henry and Garnette Hollatz Behning.
Lucille was employed at the former Venture in Cape Girardeau and previously attended Shawnee Hills Baptist Church in Jackson.
Loving survivors include two children, Kim Jackson of Cape Girardeau and Michael (Brenda) Hauschild of Wood Dale, Illinois; five grandchildren, Kadesia Harris, Kierra Wyatt and Muhammad Jackson, all of Cape Girardeau, and Michael Hauschild Jr. and Johnny Hauschild, both of Wood Dale; a great-grandson, Jacoby Wall of Cape Girardeau; her former husband, Dave Lyerla of Adams, Wisconsin; and two siblings, Gloria Martynuk and Walter Behning, both of Bensenville, Illinois.
Lucille was preceded in death by five siblings, Henry, Gerald, Robert and Charles Behning and Garnette Corwin; and her parents.
Visitation will be from 5 p.m. to service time Friday at McCombs Funeral Home in Cape Girardeau.
A memorial service will be at 6:30 p.m. Friday at the funeral home, with the Rev. Don Estes officiating.
Memorials may take the form of contributions to the Humane Society of Southeast Missouri.
