LUCILLE LOCKWOOD

BERNIE -- Funeral for Lucille Lockwood of Flint, Mich., will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday at Rainey Funeral Chapel in Bernie. The Rev. Joe Masters will officiate, with burial in Bernie Cemetery.

Lockwood, 75, died Saturday, Sept. 5, 1998, at McLarin Hospital in Flint.

She was born June 1, 1923, in Dardanelle, Ark., daughter of George Timothy and Polly Edwards Miller. She and Robert Lockwood were married Dec. 7, 1961, in La Puente, Calif. He died in 1991.

Survivors include two brothers, Lester Miller of Bernie, Hugh Miller of Flint; and a sister, Alice Mayberry of Dexter.

She was preceded in death by an infant daughter, six brothers and three sisters.
