DEXTER -- Lucille Goodson, 87, of Dexter died Friday, Sept. 5, 1997, at Lucy Lee Hospital in Poplar Bluff. She was born Aug. 20, 1910, at Hayti, daughter of Bob and Oda May West Pullam. She and William Esco Goodson were married Oct. 8, 1935. He died Dec. 17, 1988...

DEXTER -- Lucille Goodson, 87, of Dexter died Friday, Sept. 5, 1997, at Lucy Lee Hospital in Poplar Bluff.

She was born Aug. 20, 1910, at Hayti, daughter of Bob and Oda May West Pullam. She and William Esco Goodson were married Oct. 8, 1935. He died Dec. 17, 1988.

Goodson had lived in the Dexter area since 1954, and attended Pleasant Grove Church near Pyletown.

Survivors include a daughter, Betty Stewart of Poplar Bluff; three grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by two sisters and a brother.

Friends may call at Watkins and Sons Funeral Home in Dexter from 5-8 p.m. today.

Funeral service will be at 1:30 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home, with the Rev. Harold Belcher officiating. Burial will be in Bernie Cemetery at Bernie.
