PUXICO, Mo. -- Funeral for L. Lucille Fann of Puxico will be held at 10 a.m. today at Watkins and Sons Funeral Home in Puxico. The Rev. John Adams will officiate. Burial will be in Puxico Cemetery.
Fann, 84, died Saturday, June 30, 2001, at Pine Lawn Residential Care Center.
She was born June 3, 1917, near Puxico, daughter of Will M. and Sarah Ette Harty Capps. She and Hollan Fann were married March 27, 1937. He died June 9, 1989.
The Fanns owned and operated Star Theatre 10 years in the 1940s and '50s.
She was a member of the United Methodist Church, served on the church board and was past president of United Methodist Women.
Fann was past president of Thursday Club and VFW Auxiliary 7822, past matron of Eastern Star Chapter 422, member of Job Corps Community Relations Council, and member and past treasurer of Glencourt Apartments Senior Housing.
Survivors include two sons, Harris Fann of Bryant, Ark., Charles Fann of Puxico; and five grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by four brothers.
