CHAFFEE -- Lucille M. Bentley, 86, of Chaffee, died Monday, Feb. 14, 2000, at Clearview Nursing Center in Sikeston.
She was born Sept. 10, 1913, at Kurreville, daughter of Robert Otto and Rosie Octivia Walker Riehn. She and Ardello William Bentley were married April 6, 1929. He died Nov. 30, 1978.
She was a member of the Word of Life Fellowship Church in Cape Girardeau and had been a member of Old Salem Church in Cape Girardeau County.
Survivors include two sons, Billy L. Bentley of Sikeston and Gary W. Bentley of Chaffee; five daughters, Jean Hanlon and Thelma Mansker, both of St. Louis, Mable Helt of Cairo, Ill., LaWanda Talley of Sikeston and Bonnie Sadler of Morley; 30 grandchildren; 46 great-grandchildren; four stepgrandchildren; 14 stepgreat-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by three sons, two brothers and a sister.
Visitation will be after 4 p.m. today at Amick-Burnett Funeral Chapel.
Service will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at the chapel, with the Rev. Larry Rafftery and Joe Payne officiating. Burial will be in Union Park Cemetery.
