Lucille Ann Sample, 76, of 215 Country Club, died Saturday, July 25, 1992 at the Cape Girardeau Nursing Center. She was born Sept. 23, 1915 in Dillard, daughter of James Stotler and Helen Feltz Stotler. She married Rufus Sample on Aug. 9, 1934 in Steelville. He survives of the home...

Lucille Ann Sample, 76, of 215 Country Club, died Saturday, July 25, 1992 at the Cape Girardeau Nursing Center.

She was born Sept. 23, 1915 in Dillard, daughter of James Stotler and Helen Feltz Stotler.

She married Rufus Sample on Aug. 9, 1934 in Steelville. He survives of the home.

She moved to Cape in 1935 and was a member of Red Star Baptist Church.

Other survivors are two sons, Jerry B. Sample and James R. Sample, both of Cape Girardeau; one brother, Louis Stotler of Steelville; and two sisters, Marie Boyd of Grand Junction, Colo. and Lizzie Farrar of Leesburg.

One sister preceded her in death.

Friends may call on Tuesday at Ford & Sons Sprigg Street Chapel from 9 to 10:45 a.m.

Graveside service will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday at Lorimier Cemetery, with Art Kelly officiating.
