BENTON -- Lucas L. Bles, 89, of St. Louis died Monday, Feb. 17, 1997, at St. Anthony's Medical Center in St. Louis. He was born Dec. 31, 1907, at Benton, son of John and Amelia Quillmach. He first married Edna Buhs, who preceded him in death. He later married Golda Rain, who died July 4, 1989...

BENTON -- Lucas L. Bles, 89, of St. Louis died Monday, Feb. 17, 1997, at St. Anthony's Medical Center in St. Louis.

He was born Dec. 31, 1907, at Benton, son of John and Amelia Quillmach. He first married Edna Buhs, who preceded him in death. He later married Golda Rain, who died July 4, 1989.

Bles was reared in Benton and attended school here.

Survivors include several nieces and nephews in the Benton area.

Friends may call at Kutis Funeral Home in St. Louis from 3-9 p.m. today.

Funeral Mass will be at 10 a.m. Thursday at Seven Holy Founders Church, with burial in Calvary Cemetery in St. Louis.
