Funeral service for L.T. Tackett of House Springs will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday at Britton Funeral Chapel of Potosi. The Rev. Danny Anderson will officiate, with burial in Sunset Hill Cemetery.
Tackett, 66, died Tuesday, May 4, 1993, at Vencore Hospital in St. Louis.
He was born April 25, 1927, in Cape Girardeau, son of Luther and Celest Clark Tackett. He and Geneva Dicus were married Oct. 30, 1948, in Piggott, Ark.
Tackett was a member of Antonia Full Gospel Church.
Survivors include his wife; a son, Roger Tackett of Norman, Okla.; two daughters, Judy Moore of Barnhart, Brenda Dolan of House Springs; three brothers, Chalmer Tackett of Jackson, Norman Tackett of Kansas City, Raymond Tackett of Omaha, Neb.; four sisters, Alma Hall of Coleman, Texas, Clara Moore of Jackson, Lillian Pender of Millersville, Barbara Heffington of Cape Girardeau; six grandchildren, and stepmother, Vera Tackett of Cape Girardeau.
He was preceded in death by an infant brother and sister.
