LOYD BROWN

THEBES, Ill. -- Loyd Brown, 73, of Thebes, Ill., died Friday, Sept. 2, 1994, at Union County Hospital in Anna.

He was born here Sept. 5, 1920, the son of Thomas R. and Addie Buster Brown.

He was a veteran of World War II, a retired trucker and member of Teamsters Local 710.

Survivors include his wife, Gladys, of Thebes; one son, Tommy Brown, and one daughter, Kathy Angel, both of Kernersville, N.C.; one brother, Lester Brown of Thebes; two sisters, Ruth Light and Lorayne Kerby, both of Tulsa, Okla.; and four grandchildren.

His parents and one brother preceded him in death.

Visitation was Saturday evening at the Crain Funeral Home at Tamms, Ill. Graveside funeral service will be conducted at a later date.
