JACKSON -- Loy Yamnitz Jr., 71, of Jackson died Saturday, April 29, 2000, at his home.
He was born Dec. 19, 1928, at Yount, son of Loy O. and Myrtle Fadler Yamnitz Sr. He and Wilma Barks were married Feb. 11, 1950.
Yamnitz owned and operated Yamnitz Auto Body in Jackson since 1966. He was a member of the First General Baptist Church at Jackson.
Survivors include his wife of the home; two sons, Craig and Ryan Yamnitz, both of Jackson; two daughters, Bonnie Dubs of Chesapeake, Va., and Bambi Fowler of Jackson; 13 grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by a son and a brother.
Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. today at the McCombs Funeral Home at Jackson.
Funeral will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday at the funeral home, with the Rev. Barry Winder officiating. Burial will follow in Yount Community Cemetery at Yount.
