ARBOR -- Lowel Clark James, 53, of Chicago, died Monday, Aug. 5, 1991, at his home.

He was born April 25, 1938, at Arbor, son of Harl and Grace Stevens James.

James is a graduate of Delta High School, and was a jet engine mechanic in the U.S. Air Force four years. He was a self-employed machinist, and member of Lutheran Church of New Lenox.

Survivors include a daughter, Heidi Tarrant of Stonebridge, Ill.; his mother of Arbor; a brother, Hansel James of Arbor; two sisters, Wanda Palmore of Gainesville, Texas, and Rosemary Brown of Cape Girardeau.

Graveside service will be held at 11 a.m. Monday at Hurricane Fork Cemetery near Marble Hill. The Rev. Bob Bradford will officiate.

Morgan Funeral Home in Advance is in charge of arrangements. There is no visitation.
