SCOTT CITY -- Funeral Mass for Lovina Rovina Whitledge of Scott City will be held at 11 a.m. today at St. Joseph Catholic Church. The Rev. Pat Wissman will officiate, with burial in Memorial Park in Cape Girardeau.
Friends may call at the church from 10 a.m. until service time.
Amick-Burnett Funeral Chapel in Scott City is in charge of arrangements.
Whitledge, 85, died Sunday, April 5, 1998, at the home of a sister in Memphis, Tenn.
She was born June 8, 1912, at Kelso, daughter of Otto Henry and Annie Regina Menz Westrich. She and Wilburn Clarence Whitledge were married Sept. 2, 1950, in St. Louis. He died March 20, 1989.
Whitledge had been a machine operator at a garment manufacturing company. She was a member of St. Joseph Church.
Survivors include three sisters, Berneda Schultz of Brighton, Ill., Ella Jolly and Wilma Arterburn of Memphis.
She was preceded in death by a brother.
