CHARLESTON -- Lovey L. Turner, 88, of Charleston died Tuesday, March 10, 1998, at Missouri Delta Medical Center in Sikeston.
She was born March 10, 1910, in the Birds Mills community, daughter of Randolph and Ada Clark Douglas. She married Albert Turner, who preceded her in death.
Turner was a member of Faith Temple Church of God in Christ at Wyatt.
Survivors include five daughters, Willie Parker, Juanita Jefferson and Vernice Ivy, all of Charleston, Gerline Greer and Dorothy Coleman of Wilson City; a son, Henry Treadwell of Wyatt; numerous grandchildren; great-grandchildren; and great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by three sons and a daughter.
Funeral will be at 1 p.m. Saturday at Faith Temple Church, with Elder L.D. Pulliam officiating. Burial will be in Oak Grove Cemetery.
Friends may call at the church from noon until service time.
