LOVENA BEVIL

ANNA, Ill. -- Lovena Smith Bevil, 86, of Anna did Friday, Aug. 17, 2001, at the Monticello House in Jackson, Mo.

She was born July 5, 1915, at Buncombe, Ill., a daughter of William R. and Rosa Ellen Pruitt Smith.

She and Robert L. Bevil were married Dec. 20, 1933, at Cobden, Ill. He died Jan. 2, 1988.

She was a member of Immanuel Baptist Church in Cobden.

Survivors include a daughter, Barbara Livesay of Wolf Lake, Ill.; a sister, Wanda Crawshaw of Clearwater, Fla.; three grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by one brother and five sisters.

Friends may call at Immanuel Baptist Church from 6-8 p.m. today and before the funeral Monday.

Funeral will be at 1 p.m. Monday at the church, with the Rev. Kenneth Mixen officiating. Burial will be in Cobden Cemetery.
