ANNA, Ill. -- Lova Treece, 84, of Anna died Monday, Dec. 6, 1999, at City Care Center in Cobden. She was born Jan. 21, 1915, in Union County, daughter of Jess and Nellie Speck Vaughn. She and Jerome T. Treece were married Aug. 3, 1934, in Vienna. He died May 13, 1995...

ANNA, Ill. -- Lova Treece, 84, of Anna died Monday, Dec. 6, 1999, at City Care Center in Cobden.

She was born Jan. 21, 1915, in Union County, daughter of Jess and Nellie Speck Vaughn. She and Jerome T. Treece were married Aug. 3, 1934, in Vienna. He died May 13, 1995.

Treece worked at Florsheim Shoe Co. many years. She was a member of Big Creek Baptist Church.

Survivors include a son, Don Treece of Anna; four grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by two daughters and a brother.

Friends may call at Hileman and Parr Funeral Home in Jonesboro from 5-8 p.m. today.

Funeral will be at 1 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home. Burial will be in Casper Cemetery.
