Funeral for Louvenia Williams of Cape Girardeau will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday at Ford and Sons Mt. Auburn Chapel.
Friends may call at the chapel from 6-8 p.m. Friday.
Williams, 75, died Tuesday, Oct. 12, 1999, at her home.
She was born April 26, 1924, in Brown's Valley, Ky., daughter of William Harrison and Sadie Palmer Jackson. She and Early Williams were married Nov. 19, 1945, in St. Louis. He died Jan. 13, 1991.
Williams lived in the Holland and Steele areas most of her life. She lived in Bell City 14 years, at Sikeston five years, and the past year in Cape Girardeau. She attended Pilgrim Rest Missionary Baptist Church in Bell City.
Survivors include three sons, Earl Williams of St. Louis, Marvin Williams of Malden, Bernard Williams of Cheyenne, Wyo.; six daughters, Jane Walls of Owensboro, Ky., Dorothy Williams of St. Louis, Arlena Foote and Joyce Williams of Cape Girardeau, Marilyn Wilson of Malden, and Henrietta Johnson of Sikeston.
Also surviving is a brother, Joe Jackson of Owensboro; four sisters, Marie Henderson, Molly Riley, Katherine Jackson and Arletta Jackson of Owensboro; 42 grandchildren; 38 great-grandchildren; and four great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by six brothers, two sisters and a great-grandson.
